Set out from Split or Trogir on a 10 to 11-hour speedboat tour with an English-speaking guide and skipper. Expect a fast, bumpy ride, open-air scenery, and flexible plans when weather changes.

“Really good 'bouncy' ride on the speedboat. The blue cave was incredible and we were lucky because we were the last boad allowed in, as the sea got too rough to navigate the tiny entrance. Ante was great as skipper and guide. Took us to the green cave too. The two islands we visited were gorgeous. I didn't bother swimming as it's a bit late in the season and too chilly for me, but a pleasant drink at the bar above the beach.”

It is unfortunate that we were not able to visit the Blue Caves because of high waves, however the skipper Luca did his absolute best to bring us other things to see and visit. He is definitely one of the best and passionate guides/ skippers out there and also honest in his suggestions. I am looking forward to coming again for the Blue Caves and would absolutely take Luca as our guide again if possible!”

Skippers such as Mateo, Dino, Mario, and Cha Cha are known for safe driving and lively guiding.

“Had the best time with Dino. The boat was comfortable and the shade made the day much less taxing overall. We got lucky with Blue Caves (I would recommend paying the extra fee to see them!) and got through it so fast we had time leftover. Dino made an extra stop at a small gorgeous inlet for some swimming, and also showed us around other blue almost-caves. He also did an awesome job steering the boat during some bigger waves on the way back to Split, caused by ferries. If you want to completely avoid any small adrenaline boost, I would maybe consider a different kind of boat.”
